Grandma Reid came to visit us at our first place in CO.
Parker and I ready for the Stadium of Fire. Parker's Dad was an honoree of the freedom award in 2011. We went to a fancy dinner where he shared some of the work he has been doing in Afghanistan. It was a lot of fun to be with family and share that experience with Dave. I didn't know that the Stadium of Fire was part of a week of activities for the freedom festival. He and Jill also got to ride on a float for the parade. What a fun and busy week!
McKinley got to stay up late for Stadium of Fire and loved it! Brad Paisley performed along with other groups.

On Kylees birthday...I don't know why she decided to pose like this? We went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and had a blast. More of those pictures to come.

Parker's sister Camille came for a visit. My sister Becca and Parker's brother John helped us celebrate my birthday. It was fun having family, but a little chaotic with all the little cousins!
Kylee posing in her snow white dress she got for Christmas. The wig is from the girls dress-up box. And check out that head tilt. She gets that from her aunt Janica and Camille. Maybe more Janica, but it is definitely proof she is a Reid!

One of our many trips to my parents cabin in Heber. This time for Thanksgiving...my Dad makes the best meats and of course I love my Mom's cooking! We spent plenty of time snowmobiling. Kylee got a little grumpy waiting for dinner to be ready, so I snuck her some cereal in the garage. She was much happier after eating.
The girls waiting for Parker to take them on a ride. They would go sit on a machine and wait for Grandpa, an uncle or Parker to get ready. It was so cute that they would wait just for a little ride.

Christmas 2011. I dyed my hair a very dark brown, it looks more red in the picture. It was a fun change and I loved wearing dark lipstick! The girls had an awesome Christmas...so did we since Santa didn't bring anything that needed assembly this year. Yeah for very smart elves and a good nights sleep. Morning sickness started just before Christmas, but I am happy to announce that I feel much better since hitting month #5.

  3. Your girls are SO cute! I can't wait to hear what you are having...and I am glad you are feeling better. There is nothing worse than being sick because of pregnancy and still having to take care of your family. Hopefully the next time you are all here in Bham we can get together!
